Ubuntu Smartphone OS

We all know that now the smartphone market is dominated  by Google's Android Operating system but many other companies are also trying to rule on the markets with their Operating systems. Recently Nokia launched many smartphones with Windows 8 operating system. So to be a part of this race, Canonical ltd. has launched its new UBUNTU Operating system for all type of devices like Smartphones, Tablet and Computers. This UBUNTU operating system will be available in smartphones from October 2013 but it will be available for developers later this month installed in Samsung Google Nexus.

Both Android and Ubuntu are Linux based operating system so Ubuntu will also be using same drivers as used by Android OS. Right now there is no knowledge that what will be the pones running on Ubuntu OS.
The speciality of this Ubuntu OS is that the same app can be used on phones and PC, so one will not face any difficulty from switching between different devices. Here in this post , there is video showing Hands on a phone having Ubuntu OS.
